Veterans Memorial Pool Grand Opening

People in West Fargo can now splash their way into summer at the Veterans Memorial day pool.

The West Fargo Park District held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the pool’s official grand opening.

The new facility includes water slides, lap lanes and a zero depth water playground.

The pool opened for a short period last year, but this year will be its first full summer season.

“We kind of feel we wanted to open this up to the public and really have it shining like a diamond. This facility is great and not just the pool itself but really the entire park is looking great. I know our staff worked very hard,” said Barb Erbstoesser, West Fargo Parks and Recreation.
