Major success to a local business has caused them to upgrade to a bigger space.

Others, a retail boutique in downtown Fargo has relocated from 7th street over to 8th street..and today they celebrate it’s new location.

100% of Other’s store profits are donated to local and international charitable groups.

The owner tell us why she’s thinks this has been such a hit in the area.

After six months in the business, Laura Morris’s boutique, Others has expanded into this new spot because of the amount of traffic coming into the store.

They’ve almost doubled their inventory.

But along with nice clothes, shoppers have the opportunity to give back to people throughout world.

“It feels good to give back, so we wanted to create an opportunity for people to give back on a daily basis a lot of organizations you can do a one time, help out with an event or do a financial contribution but that’s not really the daily piece,” said Morris.

Almost 100 vendors team up with the store to provide the products.

After paying the bills to run the company, Other’s gives 100 percent of their profit to different humanitarian organizations locally, and this year they are supporting the iF Foundation that provides breakfast for students in Haiti.

Katie Mikkelsen who shopped at the old location said, “When you buy something here, you know it’s going to something good. That you’re not just buying it for yourself, your buying it for somebody else almost.”

Morris hopes her daughter someday will understand the meaning of their message.

While smiling, Morris said, “Camilla my little daughter, was one of the reason’s we started this and we said we wanted to show her, every day to be conscious about other people in the world, where they are at, how you can help them, not just talk it but also walk it I guess.”
