TNT Kid’s Fitness & Gymnastics has put a design in place for the expansion of its Main Avenue facility.
The fitness center has almost reached its goal to break ground.
KVRR’s Brittany Ford has the story.
TNT Kid’s Fitness & Gymnastics has record enrollment in all of its programs and currently has a wait list for its No Bummer Summer program and after-school program.
To accommodate its growing needs, organizers have put an expansion plan in place.
One of the highlighted features is a sensory gym.
“We’ve always been a facility for individuals of all abilities, and when you look at our evening time programming it’s very busy it can be very loud.
For some populations that is just too much sensory input for them to be successful,” said Nate Hendrickson TNT Director Of Operations.
The 3-level 2,200 square foot sensory gym will be one of the largest of its kind in the nation.
And it’s in this warehouse where TNT will be expanding their services to accommodate the growing need in the community.
Employees at the gym are also excited about the new developments.
“Being able to serve more children developing relationships with other partners in the community, and just getting to know more kids that’s the fun part and great part of TNT,” said TNT Employee Amanda Kuchar.
The changes will also allow the fitness center to partner with more organizations including the Anne Carlsen Center and Haley’s Hope.
Something TNT says can help continue their success within the community.

The gym has reached 80-percent of its goal and has $1 million left to raise before it will break ground.
