UND Football Releases Times for 2015 Home Games

– University of North Dakota athletic department officials announced the game times for the team’s upcoming 2015 home schedule, which will get underway with the 50th Annual Potato Bowl USA game on Sept. 12. The home opener against Drake will be the only evening tilt on the five-game home schedule as UND and the Bulldogs will kickoff at 5 p.m. CT at the Alerus Center.

The remaining home games on the schedule are all Big Sky Conference matchups and will feature a standard kickoff time of 1 p.m. CT. This year’s league opener is set for Sept. 26 against UC Davis as the Aggies make their first trip to Grand Forks since the 2010 season when they were also a member of the Great West Conference.

Next up at home, UND will play host to Idaho State for the 2015 Homecoming affair on Oct. 10. The Bengals have not played in Grand Forks since the inaugural Potato Bowl USA game in 1966, which resulted in a 41-0 victory for UND. The Green and White will conclude the month with a Halloween tilt against Montana State on Oct. 31. UND will be looking for its first win over the Bobcats as a Big Sky member.

After a bye week, UND remains at the Alerus Center to close out the home slate against Northern Colorado on Nov. 14. UND’s 19-point victory over the Bears last season snapped a stretch in the series where the first three games as Division I foes were decided by a combined six points.
