People in the F-M area get the chance to take a trip in time at 38th Annual Scandinavian Hjemkomst and Midwest Viking Festival.
The festival is put on every year by the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County.
Attendees get the chance to explore the traditions of five different Scandinavian cultures.
The festival includes a variety of cultural dances, musical performances, traditional crafts and foods.
“This area was settled by a lot of Scandinavians and it’s just a chance to celebrate and we have a lot of cultural pride in this area. It’s the time to come and learn something new and celebrate,” said Maureen Kelly Jonason Historical & Cultural Society of Clay County.
The festival goes through tomorrow from 10-5pm.
