Mourning continues for the loss of 14-year-old Connor and 18-year-old Zach Kvalvog  after a tragic car crash last week.

The funeral for the two Park Christian brothers was held at the Bethel Church in Fargo.

It’s an absolute tragedy. The boys were loved by many, and it showed with more than 12 hundred people in attendance at the service.

Family and friends gather to give their final goodbyes to the Kvalvog brothers who died last week in a rollover crash on I–94 near Fergus Falls on the way to a basketball camp.

In wheel chairs from the crash, Jimmy Morton and Mark Schwandt were honorary pallbearers.

Their basketball trainer says these boys have made a home in his heart.

“I think you all can agree, Zach and Connor had such an impact in my life…..that when have kids I want them to emulate Zach and Connor,” says Trainer Ben Woodside.

One well–known coach from the basketball community said that they had tenacity unlike any other children he’s met.

“Both those boys gave you everything they had. If you told them to do something, they’d do it. I can’t think of what the world would be like today if we had more young men like that, that would never quit,” says Erv Inniger.

Close with Connor and Zach, one young man says he’ll never forget his good friends.

“I think the last thing that I said to Connor was I shook his hand and said I love you bro, I think the last words are just so great to have but it’s definitely going to be hard without him,”says Jake Monson.

It was said multiple times during the service that Zach was the leader and Connor’s smile was something you couldn’t forget.

We give our deepest condolences here at KVRR to the family and friends of these two young men.
