SWAT Team Finds Dead Man in North Fargo Apartment

The Red River Valley “SWAT” team finds a dead man in his north Fargo apartment.

Police responded to the 300 block of 30th Avenue North after a call to check on the man.

Witnesses tell us a group of around 15 SWAT members showed up to the apartment building.

Police say the man shot himself as officers were outside of the building.

His body was found in his apartment just before 3:30.

“It was definitely scary, didn’t know what was going on. Then it was very sad when they went and told the family,” says Callie King, a witness.

Police say the SWAT team was called because they were not taking any chances.
