Moorhead Dispensary to Open in August

The first dispensary in Moorhead is expected to open in August in a former Subway location.

Minnesota Medical Solutions will open a location here at 104 7th street south.

But local health systems have had challenges incorporating medical marijuana into their practices.

Essentia Health has established a committee of physicians who will review the cases of patients who have requested medical marijuana treatments.

Sanford currently has no position.

They say the decision to prescribe it or not is up to each individual provider.
