33rd Annual Cherries For Charity

For the next week, helping a local cause is as easy as buying a bag of fruit.

The 33rd annual Cherries for Charity event kicks off at Hornbacher’s locations throughout the F-M area.

Twenty-five cents per pound of cherries sold will be donated to the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center and YWCA Cass Clay.

Hornbacher’s and the Fargo-Moorhead Cosmopolitan Club have raised nearly $400,000 from this event to date.

“When they can get extra money for their funding, they’re always overloaded with people that need their services so this just really comes through and helps them a lot,” says F-M Cosmo Club Cherry Chair Kathy Robley.

The event continues through next Tuesday.
