Kids Host Lemonade Stand For a Good Cause

A group of children at a local day care is selling lemonade and treats to benefit those in need.

With help from their daycare provider, these kids built their own lemonade stand to help raise money for those who can’t afford school supplies.

This is the third time the daycare has hosted the event.

All the proceeds from the lemonade stand go to the United Way School Supply Drive.

“Philanthropy, giving back to the community is so important and it’s important to instill it while they’re young so they can continue as an adult,” said Daycare Provider Jamie Zastoupil.
 

Last year, the lemonade stand raised over one thousand dollars.
