Man in Court After Charged With Killing Cousin

A Fargo man is in court more than one year after being arrested for killing his roommate.
KVRR’s Erin Lisch joins us live with more.
25-year-old Christopher Hampton is facing the jury this week for allegedly shooting his cousin 28-year-old Randall Doehner.
After an entire day of questioning, the jury for his trial has been selected.
Picking out of a 56 person pool, 9 women and four men have been chosen to determine if Hampton is convicted of murder.
Just over one year ago on June 26th, Randall Doehner was shot and killed.
Being a person of interest for police, Christopher Hampton was arrested and charged with murder.
He is accused of shooting his cousin twice execution style.
According to court records, Hampton says that he was being poisoned by the victim.
But when asked his plea by the judge, he says not guilty.
The trial for Hampton is expected to last up to two weeks.
