Organizers are proposing the need for a sports dome in Grand Forks

“Because of the gym space and the unavailability to find space to practice and play sometimes we do loose athletes to other clubs they’ll travel to local towns because they offer year round soccer, because they have a sports facility where they maybe have better hours and more available options for their soccer athletes,” said Greater Grand Forks Soccer Club President Julie Vorachek.

The lack of playing space is something that the organization struggles with year round especially in fall and winter..
