North Dakota Airmen Deploy to Southwest Asia

About 15 North Dakota Air National Guard airmen have departed for a six-month deployment to Southwest Asia.

The airmen are assigned to the Minot-based 219th Security Forces Squadron.

They volunteered for the base defense and security operations mission.

The group will support units in the U.S. Central Command, or CENTCOM.
