Culture Creations in Moorhead

You can taste foods of a different culture in Moorhead this week.

The Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County is hosting its first series of Cultural Creations through the week at the Hjemkomst Center.

The first series showcases food from Sherbanoo’s Indian Cuisine Cookbook.

This all leads up to India’s Independence Day on Saturday.

Sherbanoo Aziz said, “My goal was to introduce a culture and that we are all similar people, we are all people who love different things like the excitement so that is my purpose of writing the book.”

You can try out the cuisine at the Heritage Snack Shack in the Hjemkomst Center from 11:30am-1:00pm this week.
