The Red River Zoo has welcomed four new fury additions to its grey wolf exhibit.
The four siblings were born on April 30th at the Omaha Doorly Zoo in Nebraska.
They arrived to the Red River Zoo just two weeks ago, and had been off exhibit to the public while they adjusted to their new environment.
Keepers say they were surprised to see how fast wolves Ella and Moose accepted the pups as their own.
“The puppies are doing exactly what they should do to become a part of the new pack. The adults are doing exactly what they should do to accept the new young wolves into the pack, and it’s an amazing that’s forming right before our eyes,” said Zoo Vet Tom Colville.
The zoo has opened up to the public the chance to name the wolf pups.
It will be selling the naming rights for each of them on its Facebook Page.
All proceeds will help the nonprofit in funding the new wolf holding area, and improvements around the park.
