The University of Jamestown is being listed as one of the best schools in the Midwest by the Princeton Review.

It’s the second year they receive the recognition and some students say they aren’t surprised.

It’s a home away from home according to students like Samantha Rogozynski.

“I think that that’s definitely true. The environment is just so welcoming,” said freshman Samantha Rogozynski.

The University Of Jamestown along with the University of Iowa and the University of Kansas have been named as some of the top schools in the Midwest.

“Having my first day here I was extremely homesick, but everybody was just really welcoming and the professors, they always seem like they’re there for you,” said Rogozynski.

The Princeton Review looked strongly at what enrolled students have to say about the school.
On their website they say:
“A significant portion of the students come to Jamestown for, as one student put it, “the most intense, high–esteemed nursing programs in the area.”

“Even being here for one day, they’ve all offered to open up their doors to us just for this one assignment that I’m doing. So it just feels like a very welcoming home away from home,” said Rogozynski.

It’s a school where the students say they feel welcome and cared for.

There were 158 other schools in the Midwest chosen for the honor.
