Moorhead Farmers Market on the Grow

Sorry, this video is no longer available

Crops aren’t the only things that are growing at the farmers market in Moorhead.

The market itself has grown from five vendors last year to nine this year.

You can find organic, locally grown food from right here in the Red River Valley.

People are selling anything from vegetables, bread and salsa, to honey and shrimp.

The Moorhead Farmers Market happens every Tuesday through the end of the September.

“I think it’s very important to grow naturally, give me the experience of growing and being out in the community. Give all the rest of us a good experience,” said Linda Nwankwo of Fargo.

Organizers say they’re excited about the pumpkins coming in the next few weeks.
