FM Firefighters Asking You to Help Fill Their Boots!
Sorry, this video is no longer available
Firefighters in the FM are taking their boots off so that you can fill them.
The Fill the Boot fundraiser is put on every year by the departments to raise money to help kids living with neuromuscular diseases.
Firefighters will be out at all seven Hornbacher’s locations in the F-M Friday through Saturday from 8 to 7p.m.
The money raised will go towards healthcare services, and equipment.
It also will help send kids to the Muscular Dystrophy Association summer camp at no cost.
“Some of these kids can’t do that expect at summer camp. They can’t go swimming expect at summer camp. They can’t shot Bowen arrows expect at summer camp. All these things that they get to do there, and I think that we all take for granted,” says Moorhead Firefighter Dean Bloch.
Last year the Fill the Boot fundraiser was able to raise $25,000 to help kids in need.
