Local swim and diving team members took a break from the pool to help one spooky good cause.

The South High girls swim and dive team put their Halloween decorating skills to the test, as they helped the Children’s Museum at Yunker Farm prepare for its Not-Too-Scary Haunted House event.

Their volunteer efforts are a part of the team’s sports season community service project.

It is also is a way for the girls to bond outside of the pool.

“They have good camaraderie when they do it. It’s also a way for us to get to some of the older girls to help out the younger girls build our unity a little. These kinds of things just a real fun thing for us to do,” says South High Swim and Dive Coach Skip Fisher.

This is the third year that the swim and dive team have helped decorate the museum.
