Strings Workshop to give pointers to students
Young musicians strung up the courage to perform in front of orchestra professionals.
About 100 students performed in front orchestra conductors Foster Beyers and Jim Bartsch to receive feedback.
Five middle schools and high schools participated in the String Workshop at Concordia.
The schools that performed were Cheney Middle School, Fargo Discovery Middle School, Fargo North High, Davies High and Sheyenne High School.
Each school was given the chance to perform two sets that would be evaluated.
This workshop is an opportunity for aspiring musicians to receive professional critiques.
This is the fifth year where this has taken place.
