Looking to Start a Business? November is ” Entrepreneurship Month”

Have you always wanted to start up a small business, but didn’t know where to start?

The West Central Minnesota Small Business Development Center is helping people in the community do just that.

The center has named November “Entrepreneur month”, and will be hosting several free educational workshops throughout the month that are free and open to the public.

Workshops include training on how to start a business, women entrepreneurship, and how to use QuickBooks.

The center says the workshops are aimed to show people that they too can start a business.

“A retail shop, a website development company, that’s where they’re passion is, and that’s where they should stay we come in and we help them so they understand their financials, they understand the strategy. We want to ensure their survival, we want them to grow. We want them to be in our community,” said Cathy Lindquiest Executive Director at the West Central Minnesota Small Business Development Center.
