Employees made nominations across the state and the most valuable person was selected.
“We were able to identify one of our long time employee, who will be the first ever of the dove award. We’re really excited about that,” says CEO of Lutheran Social Services, Jennifer Thomasson.
A standing ovation happened when the winner was announced.
Only the winner, Tri Phan who was chosen for his dedication, was in fact back at work.
Phan has dedicated 30 years to LSS.
When he is not bringing you the weather, our very own Rob Kupec is busy using his skills as host.
Rob emceed the Lutheran Social Services meeting at the Fargo Theatre.
The organization has been around for almost 100 years.
This is the first time they’re having a statewide meeting.
