Tom “Too Tall” Szymanski Joins KFGO News Team

One of the FM’s most recognizable media figures, Tom “Too Tall” Szymanski has made his way back to the Red River Valley.

The long time TV weather anchor is saying goodbye to television, and returning to where he first started his career in the biz, talk radio.

Szymanski  will be KFGO’s newest meteorologist for 790 KFGO-FM.

KFGO made the announcement earlier this morning on the news and views with Joel Heitkamp radio show.

“I have been here before so I know a lot of the people here at KFGO, and it’s just like coming back home to family a lot of these people are longtime friends of mine both professionally and even some personally and just being a part of the building here, and working with them again it’s like coming home,” said Szymanski.

Szymanski was a former weatherman for KVLY. Before accepting a job with KFGO he worked as a meteorologist for KXMB in Bismarck.
