A History Of Dolls
You’re never too old to have a doll, or make that many dolls.
Women from all over the Red River Valley gathered together at Fargo Public Library, with one thing in common: a love of all dolls.
A local doll expert led the program, examining dolls from the 1800s through the 1970s.
Every woman who attended was invited to bring her own doll, many have kept their dolls since childhood.
“I played with dolls and it was very special. I played with my sister and her dolls and those memories come back and I think that’s a part of it,” says Red River Valley Doll Club Treasurer, Sharon Larkin.
The Red River Valley Doll Club meets monthly. New members are always welcome.
