Snapping Art With Your Cell Phone
Anything can be art, even if you take it on your cellphone.
Local community members were invited to spend an afternoon at the Rourke Art Museum, analyzing each others phone photos.
The class examined various design concepts of photography and applied that to their own photos. But it wasn’t just about taking the best picture…
“How to talk about photos seriously. Just to elevate what may be seen as mundane into something that really does deserve careful consideration,” says Visual Arts Instructor at Minnesota State-Fergus Falls, John Cox.
A grant from the Lake Region Arts Council funded the class.
Anyone was welcome to attend and admission was free.
