Sleep Experts: Catching Some Zzzs at Work May Help Productivity

When we were kids, naptime was the most boring and hated time of the day.

Now as adults, many of us find ourselves wishing for a little snooze time.

Some sleep experts are now saying not only should you be catching those z’s, you should be doing it at work.

But before you start packing your blankey for tomorrow’s grind, there are a few things you should know before coming to your boss with this new proposition.

The National Sleep Foundation says a power nap of 20 minutes between the hours of 2 pm and 4 pm can help increase alertness and efficiency.

But if you’re not getting a good night sleep in the first place, experts say don’t nap because you’ll mess up your internal clock even more.
