The Bells are Back!

The bells are back, but the Salvation Army needs your help to make sure they continue to ring throughout the season.

The Salvation Army kicks off its official start to the Red Kettle Campaign with some holiday tunes from NDSU’s brass quintet.

This year’s fundraising goal is $896,000, and they’re asking residents from the F-M area to help reach that number.

The Red Kettle Campaign has 9,000 hours to cover for bell ringers, and they’re still looking to fill close to 5,000 of those hours.

“We always say to people make it a family tradition. Come out and ring a couple hours with the kids and experience people coming up and smiling and giving so they can see what it’s all about,” says Major Bryon Medlock.

The FM area has 34 locations for bell ringing, both inside and outside.
