West Fargo School District Passes $98 Million Referendum

The West Fargo School District will now be able to accommodate its continued rapid enrollment rate.

The school district’s $98.1 million referendum bond passed by a nearly 80 percent majority Tuesday night.

Election numbers showed that out a total of 6,064 votes, 4,831 voted in favor of the bond’s passage.

The approval will now allow the district to pay for two new elementary schools, an addition to West Fargo High School, a new hockey rink, swimming pool, transportation center and kitchen.

West Fargo Superintendent David Flowers says the district is looking to break ground on the two new elementary schools as early as next spring.
