Fargo Police Search for Suspect in Gas Station Robbery

Fargo police are searching for a suspect who robbed another metro convenience store late last night.

They responded to the armed robbery just before midnight at Phillips Travel Center at I-94 and 25th Street South.

Police say a white male about 5 foot 1 and wearing blue jeans, a hooded sweatshirt and a mask, entered the store armed with a weapon, demanded money from the clerk, and then fled on foot.

A canine was used to help track the suspect, but it was unsuccessful.

“In the process of trying to collect more evidence, some of that includes video surveillance from the store, and then also try to obtain some video surveillance from businesses nearby just in case they may have captured some part of the crime,” says Lt. Michael Mitchell of Fargo Police.

Mitchel says while there has been a string of business robberies this year, police have made arrests in all but one of them.
