Missing Boy Rescued After 4 Hours

A seven–year–old boy in Berthold, North Dakota is safe after spending four hours trapped in a window well in below freezing weather.

Officials say the seven–year–old was supposed to be walking home from school Friday, but when he didn’t show up at home, police were immediately called in.

After an extensive search, a volunteer found the boy trapped in a window well at a Baptist church near the school.

The boy was treated for frost bite and then released from the hospital.

The window well is now covered up with a wooden board to keep another accident like this from happening again.
