Seniors Get Laughs from the Past at One Oak Place
People living at One Oak Place in south Fargo had the chance to laugh down memory lane.
They hosted an annual Christmas party emceed by former sports anchor, David Levine.
Levine and the senior living’s acapella group sang old TV jingles from the 40’s and 50’s.
The party also featured homemade baked goods, and light refreshments.
Levine says it just feels good to make others laugh.
“If I were a Jack Benny, or a Bob Hope, a Don Rickles, a Jack Power, or a Johnny Carson, I know now what it means to have people laugh. It feels good and they gave me a whole afternoon of good,” said Levine.
This is the 7th year the senior community has hosted its annual Christmas party.
