Fargo Police Arrest Driver After Alleged Hit and Run

Fargo Police catch the driver involved in a hit and run crash.

Police say 18-year-old Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed of Fargo crashed into another car in the 1500 block of 32nd Avenue South just after 10 o’clock this morning.

Immediately after the crash, Mohammed and two passengers in the car left the vehicle in the Cork’n Cleaver parking lot, and ran on foot.

Police caught up to him just a few blocks from the crash.

“He was issued several citations, and summons to appear in court for no insurance, failure to remain on the scene of an accident, DUS, and care required for the crash,” said Lt. Micheal Mitchell of Fargo Police.
 
Mohammed’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
