66-year-old Richard Papenfuss is going to prison.

His most recent DWI arrest happened in August when he drove through a corn and bean field northwest of Fergus Falls.

Papenfuss told the judge that he wants to beat his drinking problem.

He was sentenced to just over three years in prison. He’ll be on probation for 19 months after his release.
