Renovation Begins: Cass County Law Enforcement Center

Renovation work is underway on the new Cass County Law Enforcement Center in north Fargo.

Asbestos is being removed from the former Armed Forces Reserve Center.

Once that is clear, the rest of the renovation work will follow.

The county is also saving a little money.

The bid came in at $900,000, well below the $1.2 million that was budgeted.

“The bids came in very favorably, below our estimate. So we’re happy with those bids. We’re expecting the committee to consider those bids and make decisions on awards today,” says Cass County Administrator Keith Berndt.

The project is expected to be completed by April.
