Christmas on a Budget? Pawn Shops Popular Alternative

The mall isn’t the only place shoppers are looking for a great holiday deal.
 
Pawn shops are picking up business ahead of Christmas.

Employees at First National Pawn say a lot of people are coming in to pawn items, and turn around and buy gifts for loved ones.

Electronics are the hot items this year.

But it’s not always the latest high tech gadgets that are selling.

The store specializes in items you can’t find at a big box store.

Seth Dyes with First National Pawn explains, “We do a lot of retro gaming. The older Super Nintendos, NES. You can’t get them new anymore. We have them here.”

It’s not too late to check out a pawn shop for last minute gifts.

First National Pawn will be open until 3 pm on Christmas Eve.
