Bison Fans Hold Down The Fort At Home

It may seem like the entire city of Fargo is celebrating with the team.

But some fans cheered from afar.

Fans who couldn’t be in Frisco kept the spirit alive in Fargo.

A lot of people thundered down to Frisco, Texas to cheer on the herd, but Bison Nation remained strong at home.

Fans in gold and green filled every inch of the Turf bar and grill near the NDSU campus.

After halftime, Jacksonville State gave the Bison fans a bit of a scare with their first touchdown.

But this wasn’t enough to have anyone working up a sweat.

“As fun as Frisco probably will is for everyone to get away from the cold, it’s better to be here with the family and cheer the Bison on, in the Bison Turf,” says the Turf’s bartender, Kevin Hill.

“It’s still fun. If I had to be anywhere, it’d be the Turf. Like I know it’s going to be really fun here too and probably just as good as the game,” says NDSU student Amanda Feldt.

The Turf says due to the Bison game today and the Viking’s game Sunday, they have a busy weekend ahead of them.

And as for Bison fans, they just earned more bragging rights.
