Hats for the Homeless: How You Can Help

A Fargo woman uses the power of social media to help those less fortunate.

Kylie Pulczinski started a GoFundMe account and used the donations to buy winter coats and food for the homeless.

She leaves her donated items in totes near railroad tracks where the homeless often gather.

“I asked one of the ladies that worked with one of the shelters if she knew of this guy that used to come into our store all the time.  She told me that she knew who I was talking about and that he froze to death a couple of years prior,” said Pulczinski.

She hopes to receive at least $1,000 in donations next year to fund the project for the entire season.
