North Dakota Tourism Gem: Josh Duhamel Ads Boost Big Interest in the State
Josh Duhamel’s North Dakota Tourism ads were previewed last week before they’re officially launched and they’ve already received an overwhelming response.
The Minot native previewed an ad last week on the Today show, and since then calls to the tourism department have spiked by 120 percent.
The ad also posted on the department’s Facebook page has received almost 600,000 hits in just two days.
Local hotel operators here in Fargo say it is exciting to see just how many visitors will be drawn by the ad.
“This ad is fantastic, it’s exciting, its upbeat, and it’s a little wacky which kind of describes the ‘north of normal’ motif of the CBB here. It really drives a good message out,” said Chris Gaylord General Manager at the Four Points Hotel.
The $2.5 million campaign will run for two years.
