Students Hosts Valentine’s Day Party At Gigi’s Playhouse

A group of middle schoolers step up for love.

15 Discovery Middle School students volunteered to celebrate Valentine’s with families affected by Down syndrome.

13 families stopped by Gigi’s Playhouse for fun activities.

One student spearheaded the leadership group for classmates to get involved in their community.

“Learning to give back and what it means to volunteer. And hopefully going forward, they will continue to volunteer at Gigi’s playhouse with all the different activities that happens here,” says Kristin Peters of Fargo.

The students will put on a kickball tournament at the end of the month to raise money for Gigi’s.

Gigi’s is always looking for volunteers.
