West Fargo District School Buys New Hockey Rink Location

It was a promise the West Fargo School District made to residents years ago, and it’s now in full motion.

The district has officially purchased the location that will be home to its new hockey rink.

The rink will be built on the northwest intersection of 32nd Avenue and Sheyenne Street.

The district says that with the purchase of a larger than expected property, they are looking to have up to three sheets of ice.

“This will be a very nice facility. It won’t be unrivaled across this northern area of the states, and even in the state. It will be a very nice facility that we’ll be proud of, and it will be a great investment in our community,” said Superintendent Flowers.
 

Superintendent Flowers says the district hopes to break ground by fall 2017.
