Assisted Living Facility Being Built in West Fargo
A new assisted living facility is going up in West Fargo.
New Perspectives Senior Living, an Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based company, is building its first senior living complex in North Dakota.
The facility will feature up to 130 rooms.
Eighty units will be individual living units, and about 50 will be for people with more significant medical needs.
West Fargo Economic Development Director Matthew Marshall says the new facility will help as the city grows to accommodate more senior citizens.
“They’re moving toward the healthcare. They’re moving toward their children,” Marshall says. “A lot of the children are moving toward the larger cities for jobs, and then the parents are following.”
The facility is expected to open late this year.
