“Team Chip” Presents Lend A Hand With Most Successful Fundraising Check

The Lend a Hand program has received one of its largest fundraising checks yet.

Team Chip, a group of volunteers, raised $37,000 toward the program from their recent Bowlin’ for the Colon event.

Team Chip became Lend a Hand ambassadors after the program helped raise funds for their friend Chip, who passed away from colon cancer.

“It’s tremendously exciting to have partners like Team Chip who host events that help the Lend a Hand program help many more families in our communities. The program would not be able to give as generously as it does for our neighbors without great people like team chip,” said  Jeana Peinovich of Lend a Hand.
 
The money raised will be matched by the Dakota Media Foundation, and will be going back to help families in need facing a health crisis.
