NDSU Choirs Perform Mid-Winter Concert
NDSU singers feature a few local artists in their annual mid-winter concert.
One of the songs performed at the concert was composed by NDSU’s long time choral director.
Another song featured a composer down in the cities.
The concert included mainly folk and spiritual music.
Three of the five choirs at NDSU performed, and many of the students don’t even study music.
“What I think is really neat about the singers in these choirs is that it represents people that are studying lots of different majors but that singing is still really important to them,” says NDSU Asst. Choral Director, Charlette Moe.
Moe says many of the students studying everything from psychology to veterinary even engineering.
NDSU’s University band concert will be performing tomorrow night at 7:30.
Tickets are five dollars.
