Spread the Sway: Spring Pops Up in the Metro
A beautiful day wrapped up the weekend and people across the Red River Valley made it count.
It looked like a summer day in downtown Fargo as bikers, joggers and some furry friends filled Island Park.
People enjoyed the day’s record setting temps, getting as warm as 66 degrees.
A few hammocks were even set up making sure to spread the sway.
“Since we set up there is people over there in hammocks and people over there so it’s kind of cool that this is now known as the spot in Fargo,” says Kyle Lidberg, Hammock Initiative Ambassador.
Lidberg is an ambassador of Hammock Initiative, a global movement encouraging people to slow down and enjoy the day.
As temperatures get even warmer, Lidberg hopes to see more hammocks pop up across the metro.
