Bearded Bros Take Over Broadway for Men’s Health
Bearded bros take over downtown Fargo to support men’s health.
The eighth annual Bros on Broadway fundraiser helps men fighting prostate cancer.
Guys and girls put on their best beards, mustaches and wigs for the celebration at the Hotel Donaldson.
All proceeds go to the Dakota Medical Foundation to buy gas cards to help transport prostate cancer patients to treatment.
Like its sister event, Bras on Broadway, the fundraiser shines the light on a disease that targets a specific gender.
“Men’s health awareness is not as strong,” says organizer Tanner Tweten. “We’re happy to see it growing through Mowvember. We’ve been supporting through FeBROary ever since 2008, and we’re excited to continue that.”
Organizers have already raised more than three thousand dollars before the show.
