Local YMCA Hosts Third Annual Easter Eggstravaganza

It was a hoppin’ good time at the Fercho YMCA in downtown Fargo.

Nearly 200 kids celebrated Easter a week early at the Y for its third Annual Easter Eggstravaganza.

Kids hit the craft tables to create their own bunny ears and finished the costume with their own cottontails.

An obstacle course was set up for the bunnies to race through.

“It is just an opportunity to bring people into the Y and have some fun in the spring time. We’ve had some great weather this spring but sometimes this time of year, it’s not so great. This is just a great time to do something fun,” says YMCA aquatic coordinator Heather Johnson.
 
There was also a silent auction, healthy snacks and a twist-and-shout-athon.

The Easter Bunny even showed up to take pictures in the photo booth.
