Local High Schools Compete for Chance to Perform with Foreigner

One local high school choir will have a chance at fame, and it’s up to you to decide the lucky winner.

Moorhead High School Choir is just one of five schools to submit a video singing a Foreigner song.

That’s because, the winning choir will perform on stage with the band during their concert at the Scheels Arena.

Online voters will choose the lucky group who will perform backup to the song, “I Want to Know What Love Is.”

“There’s a lot of talent all around certain people had flashy smokes and light and we have a good chance because we just have a really good sound that were really proud of and we’ve worked really hard on,” says Moorhead High Choir President, Levi Seidel.

The choir director at Moorhead High says while kids didn’t know the band Foreigner by name, they were able to recognize a few songs.

Online voting is open until next Monday.

The schools participating include Shanley, Breckenridge, Moorhead, West Fargo Sheyenne, and Hawley High School.

The winning group will be announced Friday, April 1st.
