Students Honor Everyday Heroes with Song

Fargo third graders pay thanks to local heroes through song.

Students serenaded day-to-day heroes with a concert.

Local police and firefighters came out for the show.

A handful of firefighters visit Jefferson every week as lunch buddies, and eat with students.

They say it warms their hearts to see the kids give thanks.

Fargo firefighter Ron Guggisberg says, “Usually we’re just driving by with the lights and sirens and they’re waving to us, so it’s nice to be able sit down and see what they’ve been doing in school and enjoy their music today.”

Parents were also invited to the concert, another group of everyday heroes for these Fargo students.
