Dog Dies in Moorhead House Fire
A Moorhead homeowner comes home to find smoke rolling throughout the first floor of their house.
The Moorhead Fire Department responded to the call at 1313 17th Street South just after 5:30.
They didn’t find flames and say the fire most likely burned itself out sometime during the day.
Two dogs were inside the home.
One was rescued, the other died at the scene.
Damage estimates are not yet known.
