Great Plains Food Bank Hosts Annual Chefs Gala

Chefs from around the FM area were stirring up meals all for a good cause.

The Great Plains Food Bank hosted its 18th Annual Chefs Gala and Auction at the Ramada Inn.

The event featured a silent auction, a brief program and food samples galore from chefs around the area.

Organizers say the event is all about one thing.

“We are looking forward to raising enough funds this evening through all the events tonight, to provide over 125,000 meals to hungry people in our community, through the Great Plains Food Bank and our partnered network,” Marsha Paulson of the Great Plains Food Bank.
 
The event is known for raising more than $75,000 each year.
